I am sure many of you know last week I went to the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park in Southern California. I want to take just a minute today and share some details from the trip.
On Monday March 6 I was contacted by one of our fine art clients informing us about the super bloom in the Anza-Borrego State Park and asked us to go photograph it. After researching and making sure all of our projects were covered I and a good friend of mine, Curtis Callaway, decided to leave Tuesday morning for California.
We loaded up about $70,000 worth of equipment and hit the road for a 21 hour trip across the country. We arrived at 5 a.m. the following morning. Just in time to watch the sunrise chase away the shadows of the mountains.
We spent the next three days crawling around in the sand of the desert photographing flowers, bugs, sticks, coyotes and everything in between.
It was an amazing trip that resulted in a happy client. Take a look at a few of our favorites!
